New Australia co-oporation settlement Anthology  republished on the occasion of NEW 11, an annual showcase at the Australian Center for Contemporary Art

The New Australia movement was a group of  250 Australians who migrated to Paraguay in the 1890’s in search of a socialist utopian community based on the teachings of William Morris and lead by Australian labour party pioneer William Lane.

All segments of the Journal over the course of 4 years were collated together into the one 76 page newspaper for this exhibition.  Printed in an edition of 10,000, the copies of the newspapers were free to take from the space.
